Statement of Invoices and Payments

Postby nfjaffer » August 15th, 2008, 7:28 pm

When creating reports of finances, some of the reports are not calculated correctly, ie. the total of the invoices at the bottom of the statment is incorrect.

HI. Thanks for your help so far.

I am having the same problem. The total does not add up to the invoiced services.

yes found the same problem last autumn - its a calculation error - it seems that the grand total at the bottom is massively over-calculating the sum of all payments . :?:
with the 'statement of receipts' what is happening is that grand total at the bottom of the report is the sum of each payment received multipied by the number of treatments which correspond to that payment. so if you have 4 treatments at £25 all paid after the 4'th treatment the total is 400 (100 (sum of invoices, 25+25+25+25) x 4 (no of treatments)). yet if they pay after ecah treatment, the total is correct #-o

is there any chance that support can get this issue fixed. :-k each time a patient wants a printout of receipts for treatment, i have to print out individual receipts for each session of the course, rather than printing out one sheet with all the invoices and payments on it. the calculation errors are still present.

Hi - this issue was actually fixed quite a while ago but the chances are that you have an old version of the report in your database.

For more information, including instructions on how to download and install the latest version of that report, please see these posts :-

i have imported the new reports into the database. however, many of the 'old' reports have been customised for my letterheads and billing details. do i have to re-format all the new reports that i have customised, or is there a way of merging the old (customised) layout with the new report? O:)

Hi Louis,

I am afraid you will have to manually make the changes as these are new reports and there is no facility to merge them - however you can copy & paste images like logos really quite easily.
