Shared header in reports and templates?

While working on some templates for letters I suddenly thought that it might be interesting to use some sort of shared header/footer. This would make that all the letters have the exact same "looks".

2)
Is it possible to merge the information from the session notes into a letter?

[1] No this is not possible sorry, but you can always COPY & PASTE headers/footers between documents

[2] Yes but it requires some custom code. Please let us know what you're trying to achieve.
